5 Year Limited Warranty

Built to last. Backed for 5 years.

Smart Wiper is covered by a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Simple coverage, no legal circus, and a clear process if something goes wrong.

What’s Covered

  • Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use
  • Functionality issues related to the Smart Wiper control unit itself
  • Manufacturing faults that impact intended performance

What’s Not Covered

  • Improper installation, misuse, abuse, or unauthorized modification
  • Crash damage, impact damage, or wiring damage outside the product itself
  • Damage caused by improper enclosure sealing, tampering, or external electrical faults
  • Normal cosmetic wear that does not affect operation
  • Water damage. The Smart Wiper unit is water resistant, not waterproof. Damage caused by high-pressure washing, submersion, or prolonged water exposure is not covered.

Warranty Remedy

At our discretion, defective products may be repaired, replaced, or exchanged for an equivalent unit. This warranty covers the Smart Wiper product itself. Labour, installation, removal, shipping, and downtime costs are not included unless explicitly approved.

Compatibility Note

This warranty applies to Smart Wiper units installed on supported Can-Am side-by-sides equipped with compatible windshield wiper kits. Product compatibility and proper installation remain the responsibility of the purchaser or installer.

30-Day Return Policy

Unused and uninstalled Smart Wiper products may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Products must be in new condition and include the original parts and packaging.

Contact Animal Designs before mailing a return. The customer is responsible for return shipping, and the original shipping charge is non-refundable. Products that have been installed, modified, damaged, or returned incomplete are not eligible for a change-of-mind return.

Defective products are handled separately under the 5-year limited warranty described on this page.

How to Make a Claim

If you believe your unit has a warranty issue, contact us with your name, proof of purchase, machine model, a description of the problem, and photos or video if available.

Claim Requirements
